Department of Hotel Catering & Institutional Management

The department was established in 2008/2009 academic year to train mid-level manpower for the Hospitality industry in Ghana.


To be centre of excellence for producing graduates with requisite knowledge and skills for managerial/supervisory promote in the Hospitality industry.


The mission of the department is to produce middle-level manpower capable of developing recipes using locally produced foodstuffs so as to promote Ghanaian ethnic dishes at international level well as promoting tourism.
