Department of Agricultural Engineering


The Agricultural Engineering Department was established in 2005 to train middle level agricultural engineers in the Upper East Region where the main economic activities are farming and its associated activities.

As part of government programme to revolutionalise the training of middle level manpower to meet the needs of the country, a new Competency Based Learning programme in Agricultural Engineering was introduced in 2006/2007

Vision

To model students with the requisite skills and competencies to enable them surmount any challenge in job delivery and job creation in the agricultural sector of the Upper East Region and Ghana as a whole.
