QUALIFICATION
Bachelor of Arts, Political Science with Sociology, University of Ghana, Legon (1994) Master of Public Administration, University of Ghana, Legon (1999)

The Registrar is the head of the administrative departments (Registry) of the Polytechnic.
The Office of the Registrar provides administrative support and services to students and staff of the Polytechnic; regarding teaching, learning, research and community services.
The Office is responsible for maintaining the integrity of administrative and academic records and processes of the Polytechnic. It also provides effective administrative support systems and overall direction and leadership to staff.

The Registrar is responsible to the Rector in the discharge of administrative duties and the Secretary to the following:
The Council of the Polytechnic; The Academic Board of the Polytechnic; and Any other board and committee prescribed by the Statutes of the Polytechnic.

The Registrar is responsible for the custody of all legal documents and records, the seal of the Polytechnic and for affixing it to documents in accordance with the directions given by the Council.

The supervision of the functional activities of the following Departments under the Registry: Academic Affairs; Human Resource, General Administration, Public Affairs, Health Services, Examinations, Legal, Transport, including developing and maintaining an organizational structure that reflects the Polytechnic’s culture and supports its mission; Providing job-related training and encouragement of staff participation in personal and professional development on an on-going basis are responsibilities of the Registrar.

Management of the assets e.g. computers, files, furniture, cabinets, etc. are under the control of the Registry including the preparation and control of the Registry budget; creation and maintenance of agreements with educational institutions in Ghana; facilitation of students’ registration for each semester and students grading system and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Council, the Rector and other enactments.
